Azure integration services overview
Azure integration services provide integration capabilities for on-premise, cloud and hybrid applications and APIs. Azure integration services allow administrators and developers to seamlessly integrate on-premises and cloud-based applications, data, and processes across enterprises. Examples of integration services include Service Bus, Event Grid, API management, Logic Apps, Azure Healthcare APIs and Azure Web PubSub.

Azure integration services
Azure offers the following integration services to connect applications and services on-premises and in the cloud. Integration services allow customers to bring their business workflows together so they’re consistent and scalable, as well as expose APIs for developers and create opportunities for new business models.
Create workflows and orchestrate business processes to connect hundreds of services in the cloud and on-premises | Logic Apps |
Connect on-premises and cloud-based applications and services to implement highly secure messaging workflows | Service Bus |
Publish your APIs securely for internal and external developers to use when connecting to backend systems hosted anywhere | API Management |
Connect supported Azure and third-party services using a fully managed event-routing service with a publish-subscribe model that simplifies event-based app development | Event Grid |
Simplify complex orchestration problems with an event-driven serverless compute platform | Azure Functions |
Visually integrate data sources to construct ETL and ELT processes and accelerate data transformation, using 90+ pre-built connectors to manage data pipelines and support enterprise workflows | Azure Data Factory |
Becoming Azure-certified integration services engineer
As per the Microsoft official certification poster (https://aka.ms/TrainCertPoster), the following certifications are available in the fields of identity services.
- DP-203 certification exam for Azure Data Factory. As a candidate for this certification, you should have subject matter expertise in integrating, transforming, and consolidating data from various structured, unstructured, and streaming data systems into a suitable schema for building analytics solutions. As an Azure data engineer, you help stakeholders understand the data through exploration, and build and maintain secure and compliant data processing pipelines by using different tools and techniques. You use various Azure data services and frameworks to store and produce cleansed and enhanced datasets for analysis.
- AZ-204 certification exam (Certified Azure Developer). As a candidate for this exam, you’re responsible for participating in all phases of development, including requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, security, maintenance, performance tuning, and monitoring.
